Knife Scoop is a new invention and Patent Pending. It currently holds a Provisional Utility Patent. The Patent is in progress.

What are the benefits of using bamboo kitchen utensils?

 

Bamboo is an exceptional material in the kitchen. It doesn't scratch your cooking surfaces; it is heat-resistant and anti-microbial. Plus, it is lightweight, and also super durable. It is a natural solution.

Does bamboo get recycled?

Being such a renewable and hardy material also means it requires no pesticides. Bamboo is robust enough to be recycled into other products once it's finished with, but is also natural enough to fully biodegrade in landfill.

Is bamboo dishwasher safe?

 

It's always STRONGLY recommended that you DO NOT wash bamboo in the dishwasher - the harsh detergents and heat is way too much for our bamboo kitchen friends.

Why is bamboo a sustainable material?

 

Bamboo is an incredibly renewable and versatile crop. Although it's tough like wood, it's actually a type of grass and some species can grow by over a metre a day. The crop requires very little water and doesn't need to be sprayed with pesticides or fertilisers to grow.

 

Are bamboo utensils durable?

 

Bamboo utensils are long-lasting, and much more durable than wooden and plastic ones. Bamboo kitchen utensils have a smooth finish and will not get a rough or porous surface after a few months of use. Bamboo is a heat, stain, and water-resistant material. They can last for years.
